Don’t let this happen to your Work!”

Robert Leuci was a New York City police officer who was the subject of the big screen movie: “The Prince of the City”. Bob has become a prolific writer of law enforcement and first responder fiction and non-fiction books. He has published six novels, a memoir a number of short stories and has done a TV script for the A&E network. Bob teaches creative writing at the University of Rhode Island, he is a public speaker, and runs seminars across the country.

You can learn how to write about your life experiences, and if this is something you would love to do, you should be in touch with Bob. If you have a desire to write either non-fiction or fiction and are having trouble getting it all down on the page the way you want, than this is for you. Writing is difficult, no way around that. It demands self-discipline, persistence and a working knowledge and command of craft. You must be willing to be truthful both with yourself and with your subject. Although writing does require self-confidence and moments of solitude, most writers benefit from getting perspective about their work from someone they trust. Whether you are a beginner or advanced writer we all go through the same steps in creating and selling our work.

Drawing from his years experience as a professional writer, creative writing instructor, and international workshop leader, Robert offers his services as mentor, coach, and editor.

The mentoring process can focus on a specific area of your choice or cover everything from getting started, planning your overall story, developing plots, creating characters, and developing your own style. Bob believes in using your own life experiences to enhance your writing skills. He can show you how short story and screenwriting is quite different than writing for a novel. You will learn if your work is marketable. Perhaps you’ve already written a work and just don’t know how to proceed. You can learn how to submit finished products to publishers, how to get you work read by producers of television and movies.
